At the AGM 20th February 2010, Adam Oughton informed members that he was retiring as Secretary and from
the Committee, Brian Molineaux was elected to replace him.
The Committee would
like to express their thanks to Adam for his very long service, around 18 years, to ECTA and all the work
he has done over those years, he will be missed. Thank you once again Adam.
Alan
Smith - Chairperson
Alan has been in bowling since 1974, starting at Dagenham in the Nat West League and
now bowls regularly at Collier Row. He was elected into E.C.T.A. in 1993-4 becoming Chairperson in
1996-7. He is also the Treasurer of the B.T.B.A. and is on the National Executive Committee.
Brian
Molineaux - Secretary
Brian is a phase 4 coach and has previously been involved in coaching the adult
Great Britain teams. He currently coaches at the YBC at Chelmsford. He has many years experience working with ECTA.
Steve
McLean - Legal Executive & Website
Steve has been bowling since 1965, starting at Tolworth where
he joined the YBC there. He since moved to Essex where he bowls regularly at Chelmsford and also coaches the juniors there.
Ruth
Molineaux - Executive Committee
Ruth is also a phase 4 coach like her Dad. When she passed she was
the youngest to do so. She has been a member of Team Great Britain and Team England. She bowls regularly at Chelmsford
and coaches juniors there.
Lynda Brown - Executive Committee
Lynda currently manages
the ladies YAC and Senior teams. She bowls regularly at Dagenham bowl.
Mary Ellis - Junior Sub Committee
Mary
is part of our Junior Sub-Committee and coaches juniors at Maldon bowl.
Graham Ellis - Junior Sub-Committee
Graham,
also one of our Junior Sub-Committee members and coaches juniors at Maldon.
Leeroy Copping - Junior Sub-Committee
Leeroy
works at Maldon bowl where he aslo coaches juniors and bowls regularly there.
Malcolm Glover - Committee
Member
Malcolm has been in bowling since the 1960's starting at Stamford Hill, he was the first
person to bowl a "perfect" 300 at Tolworth bowl. He now bowls regularly at Collier Row.
Brian
Greene - Committee Member
Brian is a member of the successful Walton Pier Team. He bowls regularly
at Walton.
